About
Hosted by Phil and Sandra
We want your stay in this beautiful city to be an enjoyable one. Phil was born in Edinburgh and has lived here for over forty years, with a background in concierge at some of the city's top hotels and many contacts across town. If you have a question about where to eat, what to see or how to get there, ask: we are delighted to help and happy to accommodate requests.

How we host
We check guests in personally. One of us will be at the apartment for your arrival to show you round the space and answer any questions. At check-out we generally leave you to it, unless you need us.
A welcome drink is waiting when you arrive: Scottish beer by default, or a soft drink if you would rather. Each bedroom can be made up as a superking or two singles, and we will ask your preference after you book so the apartment is ready for your party.
There is a guest welcome pack in the apartment with information about the flat, sightseeing, getting around and some of our own restaurant, cafe and pub suggestions.
We live just along the coast with our young family, so we are never far away. Outside of hosting Phil loves golf, rugby and any occasion that calls for a kilt.
The building
Both apartments are on the first floor of the same building on New Street, a quiet turn off the Royal Mile. They share a layout and finish, so whichever you book you get the same bright living room, equipped kitchen, two flexible bedrooms and tiled bathroom. Groups of up to eight can take both.
Please note the apartments are strictly no smoking, and there is a short flight of communal stairs and no lift.
