Cancellation policy

Direct bookings

These terms apply to bookings made on this website. Bookings made through Airbnb follow Airbnb's own policy.

• Cancel 30 days or more before check-in: full refund of everything paid.
• Cancel between 14 and 29 days before check-in: 50% of the accommodation charge is refunded.
• Cancel less than 14 days before check-in, or fail to arrive: the accommodation charge is not refunded.

The cleaning fee and the Edinburgh Visitor Levy are refunded in full whenever a booking is cancelled, whatever the notice.

Payment schedule

A 50% deposit is taken when you book. The balance is due 14 days before check-in and is charged to the same card unless you tell us otherwise. Bookings made less than 14 days before check-in are paid in full at the time of booking.

Changes

If you need to move your dates, email us and we will do our best. A change of dates more than 30 days before check-in is free of charge subject to availability; the new dates are priced at the rate in force for them.

If we have to cancel

In the unlikely event we cannot provide the apartment, we will offer the other Calton View apartment if it is free or refund everything you have paid in full. We are not liable for other costs such as travel.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the card used to pay and normally appear within five to ten working days.
