Who you are booking with

Bookings on this website are made with the owners and managers of the Calton View apartments, New Street, Edinburgh, contactable at info@caltonview.com or +44 131 618 8239. By booking you agree to these terms and to the cancellation policy.

Your booking

• A booking is confirmed once your deposit has been paid and you have received our confirmation email.
• The person booking must be at least 18 and is responsible for everyone in the party.
• The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the booking. Each apartment sleeps a maximum of four.
• Minimum stay is two nights unless the listing says otherwise.

Prices and what is included

The price covers the apartment, linen and towels, a welcome drink, wifi, heating and a cleaning fee of £90 per stay. The Edinburgh Visitor Levy of 5% is added to the accommodation charge for the first five nights of a stay and shown as a separate line on your quote and receipt. All prices are in pounds sterling and we are not VAT registered.

Arrival and departure

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am unless agreed otherwise. We meet guests in person; please let us know your expected arrival time. Earlier check-in or later check-out can sometimes be arranged on request.

Looking after the apartment

• Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the apartment or the common stair.
• No parties or events. Please be considerate of neighbours, particularly after 10pm.
• Pets are not permitted unless agreed in writing before booking.
• Please leave the apartment in a reasonable state. Damage beyond normal wear, excessive cleaning or lost keys may be charged at cost.
• Keys must be returned as instructed at check-out.

Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the apartment safe and as described. We are not responsible for loss or damage to your belongings or vehicle, or for events outside our control such as transport disruption, utility failures or building works nearby. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We use your details to manage your stay and to meet legal obligations, including Edinburgh Visitor Levy reporting. See our privacy notice for details.

Law

These terms are governed by Scots law and the Scottish courts.
